With the perfect timing release of what is undoubtedly the best racing game to ever be released on any console, it was time for me to get my teeth into Codemasters Formula 1 2010 game and tell you why this game is a must have. Formula 1 fan or not...
The game will appeal to a wide variety of people, what with its some what arcade/sim feel. Hardcore Formula one fans will definately not be dissapointed, and casual fans will find something to absolutely love too. Even gamers who have no interest what so ever in Formula 1 will have to appreciate the pure genious of the game.
For all your Formula nuts out there, you will be glad to hear that the amount of adjust-ability that can be done to your car is immense, what from, tweeking break balance, gear ratio, down force, everything you could possibly think of, the depth of customising in Formula 1 2010 is really quite impressive.
Lets talk realism. This game is INCREDIBLE. I played a game with a wet surface, and I can tell you that Codemasters have absolutely nailed the realism of driving over a wet surface, how the car sounds, how the wheels sound, how the car reacts to the wet surface, is really something the needs to be witnessed! The tracks have been designed with utter genius, mimicking tracks down to the last blade of grass (well maybe not that far!) and including such infamous corners Eau Rouge and the likes.

I wont go into too much detail about car handling, game modes, car damage, online mode, as this is all something that needs to be witnessed as you play to really get an appreciation for it. I am not a great Formula one fan, but this game has me absolutely buzzing!
